Spherotech公司是zui的微球產品生產商之一。Beckton Dickinson（BD）公司即用Spherotech的Rainbow熒光微球來對其流式細胞儀進行靈敏度的校驗。Spherotech公司生產的微球廣泛的應用于生物醫學研究和診斷，包括免疫熒光和免疫酶學檢測等。其微球適用于熒光顯微鏡技術、激光共聚焦（Confocal）技術、流式細胞術、影像細胞術、磁性細胞分離技術、磁珠酶免測定法(EIA)等多種檢測方法。Spherotech常規生產高質量的乳膠微球、熒光微球、順磁性微球、鐵磁性微球和多種有色微球，這些微球表面可根據應用的需要添加不同的功能基團(如羧基和氨基等)。此外，Spherotech公司還生產各種包被有抗體或配體，如親合素、鏈霉親合素和生物素等的微球，用于免疫學的研究和臨床。
